We are family owned and operated since 1986 and provide complete automotive service and repairs for cars and light trucks. We offer quick one day service by our ASE master certified technicians. More Information About Big Oak Amoco

Big Oak Amoco was completely upgraded in 1997 and includes state of the art automotive diagnostic equipment. Our computer generated repair orders offer you a easy to understand, itemized list of services and repairs completed. Additionally, we keep track of services necessary and send reminders when services are due. We hope that you will find us a convenient alternative to new car dealer service and repairs.

THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING

Our station is in a great location and has been completely renovated inside and out. We have the latest computerized automotive information system and computer generated repair orders. All of our tools and equipment are state of the art. But none of this matters. When it comes right down to it. The only thing that really matters when your car is being repaired is the skill and competence of the technician. Nothing can take the place of a well trained, motivated technician.

The owner of Big Oak Amoco is an L1 level, ASE master certified automotive technician. We also employ as shop foreman, another L1 level, ASE master certified automotive technician. When you consider that less than 5% of all automotive techs nationwide are master certified, our level of commitment is clear. We are justifiably proud of our techs, and their training certificates are hung on our waiting room wall for all to see. Our techs attend many seminars and clinics throughout the year in order to keep abreast of new technology.

PA EMISSIONS TESTING

Bucks County is located in an enhanced emissions area. Federal law requires loaded mode emissions testing in all enhanced emission areas. PennsylvaniaÕs emissions program is one of the most successful in the country and is currently being copied in other states. It consists of a visual inspection of emission control devices, a gas cap pressure test, and a loaded mode emissions test. Most vehicles newer than 1981 are required to have loaded mode emissions testing. PA does not operate state inspection facilities, all testing and repairs are done by private inspection centers.
